Drop-Ins

Our Drop-in groups are now ONLINE!

** NOTE:  Prior to coming out online check this page just to be sure the group was not cancelled for some reason. We don’t cancel often however illness or other things could spring up*

This is an opportunity for you to meet with your peers and peer facilitators to chat about the challenges (and successes) you are having on your recovery journey as a person having challenges regulating emotions or as a family member with a loved one with ED challenges (family night and ED nights alternate every other month see below for dates and groups).  The validation and healing that happens when we meet as a community of equals with lived experience can be life-changing.  If you’ve been wanting to practice mindfulness or to try it for the first time, this is the perfect opportunity, as we will begin and end with a short mindfulness exercise each meetup.  Also, if you have questions around how you’re using your DBT skills, or how to support your loved one with DBT skills this is the place to be!  No knowledge of DBT is required.  We ask for $10 from those with emotion dysregulation and $15 donation from family and friends.  All facilitators are volunteers.  We appreciate families and friends helping to subsidize somewhat the cost for those with ED.

Upcoming Drop-ins

They run the 3rd Saturday night each month alternating between family and friends night and those with ED night, see below:

March 21, 2020 for family and friends for those with emotion dysregulation, ONLINE 6:30pm to 8:30pm Cost: $15.00 **

April 18, 2020 for those with emotion dysregulation, ONLINE 6:30pm to 8:30pm Cost: $10.00 **

May 16, 2020 for family and friends of those with emotion dysregulation, ONLINE 6:30pm to 8:30pm Cost: $10.00 **

PEER SHARE AND SUPPORT for those with EMOTION DYSREGUALTION will run the third Saturday of EVERY OTHER month (alternating with family drop-ins on alternating months) and are entirely ONLINE.  We will be posting links to sign up ahead of time and send out link to access online zoom session to those signed up.  Looking forward to our new online format!
