It is really hard to live with emotions that are intense and uncomfortable, maybe even unbearable at times. Many of us at DL know what this is like and have found peace and support by learning DBT skills and connecting with a community that understands.
It’s helpful to better understand what happens in our brains during intense emotions by reading about “The Brain on Stress” which helps us to understand what emotion dysregulation is and how it affects us.
